A true standout! The large-framed 2-year-old stallion Extra Quality Z lives up to his name. With his expressive type, elegant uphill model and light-footed movement, he draws attention immediately. He already jumps with great ease and athleticism, showing a big stride, quick reflexes and promising scope. He truly resembles his sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof – and that’s a very good thing.

Emerald had a phenomenal international career under Harrie Smolders and is now one of the world’s leading sires. He already produced nine offspring jumping at 1.65m/1.70m level, such as Igor, Jaguar van de Berghoeve, Mandato van de Neerheide and Nikka vd Bisschop.

His dam Eaton Z is by E-Star, the son of Olympic champion Big Star. Granddam Nivident Z (Nabab de Rêve x Almé Z) competed at 1.35m level and is a half-sister to Plenty (1.45m) and Cherie (1.40m). The damline also produced international showjumpers like Go Eldor (1.50m) and Hairo (1.45m),

For horses younger than 24 months, it is not mandatory with us to take X-rays. At this age, horses are still in full development and their joints are not yet fully matured. If any abnormalities are suspected during the clinical examination, this will be noted in the clinical report and/or additional X-rays will be taken for further investigation.

This horse was already auctioned and awarded last month, but unfortunately the buyer did not meet his obligations. This is of course very disappointing for both the seller and the auction, because reliability and agreements made are of great importance to us. Important to know: this does not detract from the horse itself. It remains a fantastic horse with an honest character, a correct veterinary inspection and the talent that he shows again and again. Although re-offering can sometimes give the wrong impression, we fully support this horse. In our opinion, a unique opportunity for those looking for a better horse!
