ABOUT
The stallion E-Star features regularly in this foal auction collection. Several foals come from the same damline. Here he is sire of Etown. E-Star was already drawing a lot of attention in the showjumping ring at an early age and as a 5-yr-old was ridden by Janika Sprunger, with whom he started an international career. E-Star was the first licensed son of the later Olympic champion Big Star.
Dam Downtown (studbook name Ebonite LCH), daughter of the 1.60m GP stallion Andiamo, also performed in the national sport at 1.40m to 1.45m level under Angelique Hoorn. An injury prevented her to pursue her career. She is bred out of Airco LCH (Air Jordan x Contender x Caletto II), a half-sister of the 1.50m level horse Stellar Skylight (Conthargos) ridden by Michaela Webb (GBR) and closely related to the 1.60m GP horse Miss Saigon (Alexis Z) ridden by Mylene Diederichsmeyer.
