ABOUT
The 8-yr-old Bellini van het Hulgenrode comes out of a very interesting sport family. She is a daughter of the medal winner Berlin, who celebrated great successes under the saddle of Gerco Schröder and is in foal to the 5yo AES licensed stallion Gorbatsjov (Ghost Z x Nabab de Reve), who is bred out of the full sister to the 1.60m GP horse Abab van het Molenhof (rider Sergio Alvarez Moya).
And now it comes: Bellini is bred out of the 12-yr-old international 1.50m level mare Kiss-Kiss van het Endhouse (Ustinov) under Stefanie Carroll- van den Brink (NED) and is a grand-daughter of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Garrincha Hedoniste (Quite Capitol).
Garrincha Hedoniste jumped at the highest level under Wilm Vermeir (BEL) and is currently still jumping at international 1.30m level as a 16-yr-old under Emilia Hendrickx (BEL). She is also dam of the 9-yr-old international 1.45m level showjumping horse Bentley van ’t Hulgenrode Z (Bamako de Muze) under Ivan Dalton (IRL).
The damline goes back to Ancara van de Zuuthoeve (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Ramiro Z), a full sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Brooke van de Zuuthoeve ridden by Richie Moloney (IRL). Ancara produced, besides Garrincha Hedonist, also S&L Exxon Hedonist, who, as a 9-yr-old, already jumped at 1.60m level under Jerome Guery, and the 1.40m level showjumping horse Catapulte Hedoniste.
Out of the same family also come the licensed stallions Montreal VDL (1.60m GP), Great Pleasure (1.30m level), Gisborne VDL (1.60m GP) and Caballero van de Dwerse Hagen Z (1.45m level).
