ABOUT
Who does not know the family of the famous Grand Prix stallion Hickstead? Three brothers of this 3-yr-old mare have already been licensed for breeding! She herself is also a special horse, keep your eyes on her. Elmara’s Heywood H Z does not only have an appealing conformation but she is also very sharp and careful in free jumping.
Elmara’s Heywood H Z is out of Amara (No Limit), who already supplied three licensed stallions: the 10-yr-old Fernando-H (KWPN) who jumps at international 1.45m level, the 9-yr-old Hanassi-H (Zangersheide) and the 6-yr-old Vigo Heywood HZ (Poland).
Grandam Jomara (Ekstein x Ulft) earned repute through her son Hickstead (Hamlet), one of the world’s best showjumping horses under Eric Lamaze. She also produced the licensed stallions Hickstead II (1.40m level showjumping) and Gino H and the CIC3* eventing horse Nieco.
Sire Elvis Ter Putte, who carries the genes of Diamant de Semilly, Darco and Quidam de Revel, jumped at Grand Prix level and is very popular among riders and breeders.
Cousin of this mare is the very talented Cambridge de Hus (Conrad de Hus). Cambridge de Hus competed under the Belgian top rider Jerôme Guery and has now been sold to Edwina Tops-Alexander. Talking about a pedigree full of sport, this mare has it all.
