The Roosakker family has already produced numerous 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horses. This will also be one for the international work. His sire is the much talked-of El Barone III Z, an 8-yr-old Emerald son out of the 1.50m level showjumping mare Naktibro (Libero H). Early this year he made his debut at 1.40m level under Pieter Kenis.
Dam Lester van ’t Roosakker has five 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping stallions in a row in her pedigree. She already produced the now 6-yr-old promising mare Onatella van ’t Roosakker, who is ridden by Dieter Laheyne (BEL).
Grandam Imke van ’t Roosakker jumped at international 1.45m level under Frank Schuttert and supplied four 1.30-1.45m level showjumping horses. Great-grandam is the celebrated Electra van ’t Roosakker, who performed at 1.60m level under Jos Lansink. She is a half-sister of the 1.60m level showjumping horse Falco van ’t Roosakker (Berlin) and the 1.50m placed Gatoucha van ’t Roosakker (Diamant de Semilly).
The pedigree goes back via Atoucha van ’t Roosakker (Darco) to the 1.50m level showjumping mare Usha van ’t Roosakker (Chin Chin), dam of four 1.60m Grand Prix horses such as Cella ridden by Ben Maher and the promising stallion George Z.
