The 3-yr-old Duette du Vlist Z makes a good jump time and again, with a good frontleg and hindleg technique. This light-footed mare also charms us because of her easy-going and friendly character. Her half-brother Cognac du Vlist jumped at international 1.50m level under Olivier Guillon, Martin Fuchs and Sebastien Campas.

Sire Duel de HSP is an 11-yr-old son of the influential Diamant de Semilly. He competed at international 1.45m level under Alexander Housen as an 8-yr-old. Duel’s half-sister Cassandra HSP won the third prize in the 1.60m Grand Prix in Neumünster with this Belgian rider earlier this year.

Duette du Vlist Z is bred out of the Westphalian mare Julliette, daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Starman, ridden by Anne Kurskinski (USA) and competing at the Olympic Games in Seoul. Juliette knew how to pass on her qualities to her offspring. She supplied Cognac du Vlist (1.50m level showjumping), Van Dam W Z (1.35m level), Cabauw du Vlist Z (1.35m level), three 1.20m to 1.25m level showjumping horses and the CIC1*-eventing horse Miss Alouette du Vlist. 

Grandam Tasja (Flaneur) performed at top level with Rob Ehrens. Under the name Olympic Sunrise, she participated in the Seoul Olympic Games, just like the aforementioned Starman. Tasja also produced ISIS ACL (1.50m level) and two 1.30m to 1.35m level showjumping horses and is the great-grandam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Love Afair 111, ridden by Dirk Demeersman and currently under Hadi Nizam (SYR).
