She might not be the tallest, but she has a huge stride e and that is an advantage in the showjumping ring. The 3-yr-old Doortje is a sharp, light-footed mare with an easy way of jumping.
In her pedigree we find the legendary Darco, Quidam de Revel and Concorde, and each one of them are very influential in current showjumping horse breeding. Sire Darius jumped 1.50m Grand Prix’s and is a half-brother of Exquis Rodenburgh’s Colorado, on which Harrie Smolders jumped 1.60m Grand Prix.
Dam Quintecolita Z descends from the 1.40m showjumping stallion Quintessence van de Laarse Heide Z, a full brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Kwidanta van de Laarse Heide ridden by Mathijs van Asten.
Grandam Prescila (Concorde) supplied the 1.50m level showjumping horse Udo (Burggraaf) and a 1.30m level horse.
