The 2-yr-old Cosby Z already looks a very complete horse. Blessed with a great conformation, a lot of appearance, a good balance at the canter and a fine technique when scaling the fence.
He is also interestingly bred. Sire Chacoon Blue (Chacco Blue) has meanwhile become a parade horse of Paul Schockemöhle because of his extreme qualities and technique when taking the fence (he is performing at 1.55m level) and because of the fact that he passes on these qualities to his offspring.
Cosby’s dam Idyllic II (Galoubet) comes out of the famous Le Mexico daughter Adith, who, in the past, jumped at 1.60m level under Hap Hansen and has proven to be very valuable in breeding. Adith supplied 14 offspring who are jumping at (inter)national level, including the stallion Daredevil, Here and Now and Glad Tidings. Adith’s dam Pletje is a sister of the Olympic showjumping horse Van Gogh (Willi Melliger).
