ABOUT
The 6.5-year-old Conteur had only been saddle broken for six weeks on the video day, yet showed great quality and a big heart. An interesting horse to produce further.
Sire Cornado I jumped at 1.65m level with Marcus Ehning and is a full brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Cornado II of Christian Ahlmann. They share their sire, Cornet Obolensky, with other leading stallions such as Balou du Reventon, Clooney 51 and Vangog du Mas Garnier.
Dam Diva VA, a Holsteiner mare by the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Clarimo x Concerto II, is the full sister of Be Aperle VA (1.60m Grand Prix with Jörg Naeve and Diarmuid Howley) and Clarima (1.45m level) and a half-sister of the 11-year-old BWP-approved stallion Carpe Diem J &F Champblanck (1.55m GP with Piergiorgio Bucci) and Quinara (1.45m).
