ABOUT

There is no shortage of power in this gelding The 7-yr-old Colorado van de Windelsteen is not only a large-framed horse, he takes the 1.30m level fences like they are nothing. A fine and easy horse that makes him very suitable for both the amateur and professional rider, but he would also do a very fine job in the hunter ring.

Colorado descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Canterbury, who was successful under Arsia Ardalan in the USA. Canterbury is a half-brother of the Grand Prix stallion Oswin, ridden by Eric van der Vleuten, and comes from the same damline as Conrad de Hus (silver medal winner at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen under Grégory Whatelet).

Dam Belle Fleur B carries the sport genes of Concorde, Apache du Forest and Major de la Cour. Her half-sister is the 1.45m level showjumping horse Flink Fokpje. Closely related are the 1.40m level horses Grafton d’Arsouilles and Dargentina des Bruyeres.
