Cochise is a mare with a beautiful way of jumping. She is careful, shows good body use and has a nice bascule. She jumps light-footedly, stays relaxed through her body and shows good awareness, making her very appealing to ambitious amateurs. Her way of moving and jumping makes her suitable for both the showjumping ring and the hunter classes.

Her sire Conthargos, the well-producing Conventer son, is known for passing on lightness, attitude and modern sport qualities. Her granddam jumped 1.40m, and Cochise descends from the same family as the stallion Quraz, a line recognised for soundness, quality and reliability in sport.

Cochise comes from one of Germany’s largest and most reputable sporthorse breeders. She is completely unbroken and knows no more than a halter. Having lived exclusively in the field, she has had the time to grow correctly and develop strength in her body and legs.
