He is tall and needs a little more time, but we believe that the 3-yr-old Cobalt Z has everything to become a special horse. A showjumping horse that many professionals would open the stable doors open wide for. Just check his balance, his good way of jumping and the scope.
Showjumping talent is not strange to him, seeing that Cornet Obolensky, Big Star and Cicero Z Van Paemel are in his pedigree. Cornet Obolensky jumped at the Olympic Games, Big Star even won Olympic gold under Nick Skelton.
The lineage goes back to Zamose SR (Chin Chin x Grannus x Zeus), dam of four 1.30m to 1.35m level showjumping horses. Zamose SR is known as the half-sister of no less than three 1.60m Grand Prix horses: Simply Grannus, Olisco M and Twinkle-Star SR. Close relatives are the 1.60m level showjumping horses Vocas and Ronaldo.
