ABOUT

The news that Utamaro d’Ecaussines Z (Diamant de Semilly) had become available for breeding in 2021 was really dynamite. Breeders offered him their best mares and this year his first foals will be born.

This 12-yr-old mare Cinini II is in foal to Utamaro d’Ecaussines Z, who was first successful under Joe Clee. Later he started in the World Equestrian Games in Tryon under William Whitaker and won the London Olympia World Cup. He completed his sport career under Niels Bruynseels and became 2nd in the FEI Nations Cup of La Baule and 5th in the LGCT GP of Cascais Estoril.

Cinini II has an interesting pedigree as daughter of Cornet Obolensky x Kojak. Her grandam Gicini (Renville) even jumped 1.55m Grand Prix under Gerfried Puck. Gicini was not only successful in the sport, but also in breeding. Of her 13 products no less than eight jumped at 1.40m level and higher, including the 1.50m Grand Prix stallion Turbo Z (Oslo World Cup winner under Kevin Jochems in 2019) and the international showjumping horses Kor II (1.60m level), Nan (1.60m level), Ludo W (1.50m level) and Asterix Z (1.60m level).

Gicini is a full sister to the KWPN-licensed Grand Prix stallion Ginus (Renville) and half-sister to the 1.60m level placed Acochini JJ.
