ABOUT
The seven-year-old mare Choppa has many plusses. She has blood, loves to jump and shows scope. This mare gave 2 foals and is inseminated on 29 July with the 15-year-old 1.55m Grand Prix Lord Founteroy (Lord Pezi x Contendro I), who was purchased by Kees van den Oetelaar for 50% in the spring this year.
Sire Chopin VA is one of the many 1.60m Grand Prix horses that Casall has produced. He already performed at the highest level with Mathilda Karlsson (SRI) in 2022 and had jumped successfully at 1.45m level with Peder Fredricson (SWE) in London, December 2023.
Dam Chippie VA descends from the well-breeding Clarimo (1.60m Grand Prix) and is a half-sister of Rumers Cascari (1.45m level). The granddam, Pippa (Coronado I), was bred from the 1.55m Grand Prix mare Libera (Libero H), ridden by Jos Lansink. Libera is a half-sister of Calido (1.60m GP with Geir Gulliksen and Denis Lynch) and the approved stallion Canaletto (1.60m GP).
