Chocotof is a beautifully built 5-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding. Strong, nicely built uphill — a horse that already looks professional. He has a nice canter and moves easily. He has a good attitude. Chocotof is not yet saddle broken.

This horse comes from one of the biggest and most renowned breeders in Germany, a breeder who has produced several 1.60m jumping horses and approved breeding stallions. The owner simply had far too many horses, which made this horse available for sale. The horses are hardly trained and still know very little; they have only recently been handled. As a result, they are not yet really easy or further educated, but that is exactly why we see so much potential here. In our opinion these are very interesting horses both for breeding and to continue developing for sport. They have had every opportunity to grow quietly and strongly, resulting in a well-developed body and a strong foundation. We have previously auctioned several horses from this breeder, including older horses that had little or no training. In the end, we gained satisfied customers from those horses. A unique opportunity to purchase a horse from a proven performance line. The horse has recently arrived in the Netherlands.

His sire CHOPIN VA (by Casall) himself jumps at 1.60m level and has already produced 77 offspring.

Dam side: dam AMBER VA (by Calato) is a daughter of granddam REMEMBER ME 4 (by Carolus I). From the line of REMEMBER ME 4 come: Quidamia D (1.60m, placings at Pattaya CH-As and Lier CSI3*), Crown 5 (1.60m, Bridgehampton CSI4*) and Curcuma il Palazzetto (1.60m, 2nd London Excel CSI5*-W and 2nd Geneva CSI5*). Furthermore, Diamantina D (1.45m) and Calato's Charles (1.50m, multiple FEI placings in North America) descend from great-granddam HALLIG II. This is a rich performance line.
