On the video day the 5-yr-old Aussi Max had been under saddle for about a month, so he is still very green. Not precisely suitable for an amateur rider unless he or she is used to bring on inexperienced horses. He eagerly approaches the fences and has an honest character. We suspect that he has cornage.
Sire Lansdowne drew attention at a very young age under the name Wietvot and broke through at the highest level under Conor Swail. Lansdowne, a spitting image of his sire Guidam, was described by him as a ‘world-class horse’.
Dam Ena descends from the popular top-class progenitor Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, who had a fantastic sport career all the way to top-level himself under Harrie Smolders.
Grandam Josephina Z (Jumpy des Fontaines x Concorde) performed at international 1.50m level with the Mexican Jose Antonio Vallarta Uribe. She is bred out of the full sister of the 1.50m level showjumping horse Bleu Lady, ridden by Janna Huhtanen from Finland.
