Sire Ard Jowawa (Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) is a 6-yr-old son out of the KWPN mare Walenka (Calvados). She is a full sister to the 1.50m level showjumping horse Vancouver (ridden by Derin Demirsoy, TUR) and dam of Freya (1.50m level), Huntelaar (1.40m level) and Geraldine (1.30m level).
Apoc’s dam Ard Flash of Gold inherited the dun colour from her sire Ard Golden Crisp (Luidam), who jumped at 1.40m level under Conan Wright (IRL).
Grandam is the KWPN mare Sadina (Voltaire x Tangelo xx) who produced, amongst others, the CCI2* eventing horse Glyndwr R and two 1.30/1.35m level showjumping horses. Sadina is also the half-sister of the 1.50m level showjumping mare Ladina (Grannus), who we know as dam of the KWPN stallion Padinus. In addition, Sadina is an aunt of the 1.55m level showjumping horse Corradina PP.
