We can call the 3.5-yr-old Alstar VD Z a beautiful, rough diamond. His attention in free jumping was temporarily a little bit lost, which is not very surprising for a young horse in strange surroundings. But he did show some very nice jumps and drew attention with his scope. Keep a close eye on this one!
Sire Amadeo van ’t Vossenhof Z is a 9-yr-old and recently made his 1.55m level debut under Frederic Vernaet (BEL). He comes out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Caloma II Z (Carthago Z), the full sister of Caloma Z (also 1.60m GP), dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Quasimodo Z.
Dam Touchy Z carries the valuable genes of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallions Toulon and Libero H. The pedigree goes back to Challa (Calypso II), the dam of the 1.50m level showjumping horse Midnight Z under the Spanish Virginia Graells Cros. Challa is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Great Point.
