ABOUT
Alicitas, born in 2008, still demonstrates the mindset required of a good showjumping horse. She loves to jump and always wants to the other side of the fence. A blood mare from the same Holsteiner line as the Olympic stallion Calvaro Z.
Alicitas gave 7 foals and is now in foal to the 15-year-old 1.55m Grand Prix Lord Founteroy (Lord Pezi x Contendro I), who was purchased by Kees van den Oetelaar for 50% in the spring this year.
Her sire Corrado I became world-famous under Franke Sloothaak at the highest level and also in breeding. Through his son Clinton, we see him in the pedigrees of Grand Prix stallions like Cornet Obolensky, Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN and Clintop 2.
The dam Synphonie I (Paramount) produced two showjumping horses at 1.30/1.35m level. The granddam, Harmonie VI (Acord II), produced five jumpers at 1.35m level and higher, including the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Chamby with Alexander Hufenstuhl (GER).
The great-granddam, Rixa (Capitol), is known as the dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion and excellent sire Calvaro Z.
