There are a lot of things that give us a very positive impression of this 3-yr-old Valano HPE. This bay gelding has a balanced canter and displays a good take-off when jumping. He develops scope and wants to be careful.

Sire Opium JW van de Moerhoeve is very interestingly bred as son of Kanann x Nabab de Reve and as grandson of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare VDL Groep Eureka. He is even a half-brother of the 1.70m Grand Prix stallion Mumbai. The 10-yr-old Opium JW jumps at international 1.50m level under Lillie Keenan (USA).

Dam Diamantis succeeded with 77 points for her IBOP, including an 8.5 for reflexes and an 8 for attitude. Later the Cardento daughter jumped 1.20m courses. Her eldest offspring Hop is placed at 1.35m level with Rhys Jones (GBR). 

Grandam Maurinia jumped 1.30m courses and bred sublimely. She supplied, in addition to Tyrone (1.60m GP with James Harvey), the 1.40m level showjumping horses Brunel and Vitis and the 1.35m level showjumping horse Rozemarijn. This line goes back to the famous Davinia (Abgar xx), dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Havinia under Gianni Govoni. A line which produces a lot of international sport horses.
