An Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, that is always quality! This 5-yr-old Outsider even comes out of the 1.55m Grand Prix mare Valine van Veecaten, ridden by Marc Houtzager. Outsider doesn’t have a lot of experience under saddle and is still a bit green in steering, but he is very brave with jumping and shows inlimited scope. He gave our rider a very good feeling. A horse for a professional!

Emerald van ’t Ruytershof went through an impressive career under Harrie Smolders and has produced a great amount of Grand Prix horses. Nine of them are even placed at 1.65m to 1.70m level, including Igor, Jaguar van de Berghoeve, Mandato van de Neerheide and Nikka vd Bisschop.

Dam Valine van Veecate (Equador) is also grandam of the 6-yr-old promising Mentos, who is started at international 1.30m level. Maxime van Andel, stable rider of Marc Houtzager, placed herself and Mentos in the KWPN championships for the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken.

Grandam Irene van Veecaten (Ixion X) is also grandam of four showjumping horses at 1.30m to 1.40m level.
