The pedigree speaks for itself. This one has to be able to jump and he can! The 3-yr-old Ogina VDA may have his own way of jumping, but he develops a lot of scope and seems to be very careful. A handsome and well moving stallion of which we have not heard the last.

Sire Balou du Rouet, the half-brother of the very well performing stallion Balou du Reventon, jumped up to 1.50m level himself. He has already supplied eighty 1.60m Grand Prix horses. His offspring Babalou 41, Albführen’s Bianca and Baloutinue are even placed at 1.70m level. 

Ogino’s dam Fenno-AL, descending from the legendary Heartbreaker, has already jumped at 1.30m level. Grandam Coraldica is a Rheinlandse mare by Contender x Heraldik xx and the full sister of the successful CCI5* eventing horse and 1.45m level showjumping horse Continuity, who jumped the prestigious cross in Badminton under David Britnell (GBR).

The damline goes back to Arizona II (Landgraf I x Farnese), dam of four licensed stallions: Caronimo (1.50m level), Lord’s High Fly (1.40m level), Cool Man K (1.40m level) and Contec (1.30m level).
