The pedigree is also very interesting. Sire Untouched is placed at 1.60m Grand Prix level, like his dam Cantate Touch and the famous grandam Classic Touch also were. Novastar's dam Faymose MB descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Arezzo VDL, who passes on a lot of sharpness and technique.

Grandam, the elite-awarded mare Wiejonah (Roven xx x Voltaire), is known as the famous half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horses Ronaldo and Vocas and Flambeau (1.45m level) and Celeste (1.30m level). The pedigree goes back to Famose (Grannus x Zeus), dam of the 1.60m GP horses Simply Grannus, Olisco M and Twinkle-Star SR.
