We love to get horses like this in our collection. The 3-yr-old Merlin shows a lot of quality over the fence and seems to the scope to do great things in the future. An easy mover, who loves to work with his strong sport body.

 

He has probably inherited a lot of power from his 11-yr-old sire Mosito van het Hellehof (Elvis Ter Putte x Nabab de Reve), who participated at the World Equestrian Games under Bernardo Alves in Herning last year. Mosito’s half-brother Kasper van het Hellehof was even placed at 1.70m Grand Prix level under McLain Ward (USA) by becoming third in the famous Grand Prix of Calgary in 2021.

 

Merlin van Polderzicht is via the dam’s side a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Van Schijndel’s Gladstone, who is regularly earning prizes under Piet Raijmakers jr. A horse with a golden mentality. 

 

Dam Serlina (Hemmingway x Legaat) is a half-sister of Verlinus (1.60m Grand Prix) and two 1.40m level horses. She is also an aunt of Collin (1.60m GP) and a close relative of Sherlina Ale (1.50m level), Gogolinus (1.45m level) and Emmelina (1.45m level).
