J Star (Big Star) comes out of the sublime broodmare Sunrise (Heartbreaker x Pilot), dam of the promising stallion E-Star (Big Star), who under Janika Sprunger was well on his way to a top-sport career until an injury played up. She also produced the 1.45m level horse Great Dreams (Vingino), 1.30m level horse Akoezie (Burggraaf), the 1.40m level placed I am Jordan (Air Jordan) and, sold via Youhorse.auction, Love (22,000 euro) and Ice-Berg Z (21,000 euro).

Sunrise is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Chocola Z (Carthago) ridden by Andrew Ramsay (USA) and two 1.40m level showjumping horses.

* For the surrogate mare a surety of 2,500 euro is charged. This amount will be refunded when the mare is returned after five months;

* It is possible to take out an insurance for 12% of the purchase price. We can arrange this for you, if you want;

* If you want to have a third party handle the birth assistance, the following rates apply: stabling 350 euro / in the field 250 euro per month. We look after the mare and the foal until it is weaned after four or five months.

* There are also rearing facilities available at a rate of 250 euro per month per foal, excluding other costs
