When you are looking for a showjumping horse with magnificent jumping manners and also a lot of scope, El Gringo van Erpekom Z is the right match. The 3-yr-old impresses us for his kind character and active, good movements.
El Gringo is a son of the 10-yr-old El Barone III Z (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Libero H), who made his debut at 1.60m Grand Prix level under Malin Baryard-Johnson last year.
His skewbald dam Passion van Erpekom Z descends from the 1.50m level stallion Pablo Van Berkenbroeck.
Grandam Lakotah (Calimero x Samber), also a skewbald, is a sublime broodmare. She supplied three licensed stallions: Utah van Erpekom (1.60m Grand Prix ridden by John Whitaker), Eclips van Erpekom (1.45m level) and Davinci van Erpekom, but also another 1.30m level and 1.40m level horses. Lakotah is also the grandam of Horatio van Erpekom (1.55m level) and Pablito van Erpekom Z (1.50m level).
