Contessa is an interesting 6-year-old bay Holsteiner sport and breeding mare, resulting from Chopin VA x Quidam de Revel — a combination that immediately stands for quality. She moves excellently, does everything easily and has a good attitude. Nice blood, not yet saddle broken, but could be suitable for multiple disciplines.

This horse comes from one of the biggest and most renowned breeders in Germany, a breeder who has produced several 1.60m jumping horses and approved breeding stallions. The owner simply had far too many horses, which made this horse available for sale. The horses are hardly trained and still know very little; they have only recently been handled. As a result, they are not yet really easy or further educated, but that is exactly why we see so much potential here. In our opinion these are very interesting horses both for breeding and to continue developing for sport. They have had every opportunity to grow quietly and strongly, resulting in a well-developed body and a strong foundation. We have previously auctioned several horses from this breeder, including older horses that had little or no training. In the end, we gained satisfied customers from those horses. A unique opportunity to purchase a horse from a proven performance line. The horse has recently arrived in the Netherlands.

Sire CHOPIN VA (by Casall, 1.60m sj) competed himself at 1.60m and has 77 offspring. Dam sire QUIDAM DE REVEL is one of the greatest jumping stallions of all time.

Dam ZITA 100 jumped at 1.50m sj and won at CSI4* Hamburg. Deeper in the family line are FOR FREEDOM EKT (1.60m sj) and NON STOP SV (1.60m sj). A mare that, in terms of family line and type, can go in several directions.
