The four-year-old bay gelding Commander LH has just been broken to saddle and immediately stands out with his handsome, long-lined sport model. He has a large canter, plenty of overview and comes off the ground easily. Over the jump he is very careful, shows a good technique, plenty of push-off and a great deal of scope. He takes on the jump well and has sufficient blood.

Commander LH is still green, but the quality he is already showing makes us enthusiastic. A very interesting young sport horse with a lot of potential for the future. Suitable for the advanced amateur through to the professional.

Sire
Comme il Faut jumped at 1.60m level himself and won the CSI5* Grand Prix of Brussels, Vienna and Madrid, among other results. This son of Cornet Obolensky (1.60m) out of the legendary Ratina Z (1.60m) belongs to the most successful jumping sires of his generation. His offspring now perform up to 1.65m level:

• Cuma 5 – 1.65m
• Cemal – 1.65m

Dam
Alegria D is a daughter of Argentinus (1.50m) and proved herself in the sport up to 1.40m level.

Granddam
La Luna is a daughter of Lamoureux I. Through her daughter Alegrina D comes a strong sport branch with:
• Baloubet de Seguine – 1.50m, AES-approved stallion
• PK Aluno – 1.45m
• PK Stanstead – 1.35m

Baloubet de Seguine won internationally at 1.40m level at CSI3* Knokke, while PK Aluno performs internationally in the United States and Canada.

Commander LH combines his long-lined sport model, carefulness and very ample scope with the proven blood of Comme il Faut and a 1.40m dam. A still green four-year-old with a lot of natural quality and all the ingredients to develop further into a serious sport horse.
