Chico van het Posthuys is a handsome bay colt who enjoys cantering and is well put together. He is long-lined, moves with plenty of balance and is nicely uphill built. His model gives the expectation that he will be comfortable to ride later on. An interesting colt with a strong sport pedigree.

Sire
Comme Il Faut (Cornet Obolensky x Ramiro Z) competed at 1.60m level under Marcus Ehning and is one of the most influential jumping stallions of his generation. He is a son of Cornet Obolensky out of the legendary Ratina Z and has also proven himself in breeding, with numerous offspring competing at the highest international level.

Dam
The performance mare Annebel jumped at 1.30m level herself and is a daughter of Argentinus (1.50m). She produced:
• Ennebel van het Posthuijs – 1.60m, including 5th at CSIO5* La Baule
• Jackson – 1.45m
• Lannebel – 1.40m, international winner
• Kirabel – 1.30m

Granddam
Manni is a daughter of Capitol I and stands at the base of a particularly strong sport branch. Among others, she produced:
• Cliff 67 – 1.60m
• I Am Codex – 1.60m, KWPN-approved stallion
• Valentino Z – 1.55m
• Babou Derick – 1.50m
• Kamilla – 1.45m
• Edgar 50 – 1.40m
• Caribo Z – 1.40m

Further back in this strong Holsteiner damline we once again find several international horses, including Cassandra and Legolas at 1.60m level.

Chico van het Posthuys combines his balance and appealing model with Conthargos and a dam who has already produced a 1.60m horse herself. An interesting colt from a proven sport family with several horses at the highest level.

Collection of the foal

The foal stays with its dam after the auction and can be collected once it is approximately 4.5 months old and has been weaned responsibly.

In consultation with the seller/breeder it is often possible to leave the foal with its dam or at its current location for longer. Any additional stabling or rearing costs are settled directly with the seller.
