At fourteen years old, Chesina is still as light-footed and quick off the ground as a young jumping horse. Chesina is a broodmare out of the same family as the world-famous Cassini I.

Chesina gave 4 foals and is in foal to O'Bailey van het Brouwershof (Darco), the Grand Prix talent under Maikel van der Vleuten.

Her sire Chepetto, son of Cento, performed at the highest level with various riders. His last performances were in 2017 at 1.55m level with Frederic Tillmann (GER). Despite relatively few coverings, Chepetto produced several good horses, such as the 1.65m classified Chepetta, AK’s Courage and Chepettano.

Dam Sweet Cassina (Cash and Carry) is bred out of Donata II (Capitol I x Caletto II), who is known as the full sister of the world-famous stallion Cassini I and half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Clarimo. An excellent lineage that has a significant influence on the breeding of showjumping horses.
