Carola is a 7-year-old bay Holsteiner mare of 164 cm who immediately shows her qualities. She jumps with remarkably good hind leg technique, is very light-footed and shows beautiful expression — a horse that appears suitable for multiple disciplines. She moves with presence and shows that she has potential, both for breeding and sport.

Carola comes from one of the biggest and most renowned breeders in Germany, a breeder who has produced several 1.60m jumpers and approved breeding stallions. The owner simply had too many horses, which made Carola available. The horses from this breeder are hardly trained and still know very little — they have only recently been handled. That may make them less easy now, but that is exactly why there is so much potential here. They have had every opportunity to grow quietly and strongly, resulting in a well-developed body and a strong foundation. Previously auctioned horses from this breeder, including older and untrained ones, have resulted in satisfied customers.

Her sire COOPER I (Cooper VA) is an approved Holsteiner stallion at 1.55m level. Sire of 44 offspring, including Cliff Hanger VA at 1.40m level.

Her dam Hoska VA is an 11-year-old daughter of CASALL — himself a legendary sire who brought his offspring to the very top level. Casall competed for years at the highest level with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE). Carola’s granddam is Toska III (by Quick Star), from whom Vienna Olympic (by Cassini I) originated — winner of the CSIO5* Nations Cup Final in Barcelona (as an 11-year-old) and a classic winner in the GCT series. From the same granddam also come Toulini Olympic (1.60m) and Forino (approved HOLST stallion, 1.45m). Through great-granddam Operette III (by Contender), even more sport offspring are known, including Diamant de Operette VA (1.45m, approved HOLST and OS) and Cahil (approved HOLST, 1.40m). This is a rich performance line with proven blood.
