The four-year-old Rafael-R gives his rider much comfort over the jump, has a good attitude and fine, workable blood. His half-sister Edonja G jumped 1.55m Grand Prix with the German Hans-Jörn Ottens.

Sire Bustique is famous for being the sire of Maikel van der Vleuten’s Beauville Z N.O.P., the winner of individual bronze and team-silver at the 2022 European Championships in Herning and two-times individual bronze at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024.

Dam Udonja G descends from Garanco, son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Jasper. Granddam Madonja G is sired by the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Hamlet x Jasper. Her son Artano G jumped 1.50m level courses. Madonja G herself is a half-sister of the stallion The Aviator II (1.50m level), international showjumping horse O.Two Step G and four horses at 1.30/1.35m level.
