This Coridon van ’t Gebergte Z is going to suit many stables. Not just because of his looks and carefulness over the fence, but also due to his potential given his pedigree. Two half-brothers are approved stallions: the four-year-old Cognac vh Gebergte Z (Chacco Blue) and the three-year-old Uricas van ’t Gebergte Z (Untouched). Cognac made an impression last week at the KWPN Horse Days. He won the final for four-year-olds in the Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup with the highest scores (9 and 8.2) from Hans Horn and Albert Zoer.

Sire Casall was active at the highest level for many years under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and has supplied at least hundred showjumping horses at 1.60m level, including the licensed stallions Caracas, H&M Chilli Willi and Cordial at 1.65m and 1.70m level.

Dam Olympia JW van ’t Meulenhof (by Diamant de Semilly) is a daughter of the 1.70m Grand Prix mare Ilusionata van ’t Meulenhof (Lord Z), ridden by William Whitaker and Niels Bruynseels. Ilusionata is a half-sister to four 1.60m Grand Prix horses, including the famous Emerald van ’t Ruytershof and the approved stallion Nixon van ’t Meulenhof. She herself produced the 1.55m Grand Prix horse L’Esmeralda van ’t Meulenhof.

This horse was previously auctioned, but as the buyer did not meet his obligations, the payment was never completed. The horse itself is exactly as described. Perhaps it’s no coincidence the previous buyer didn’t pay — this horse was simply meant for you!
