If this Spirit van de Gaathoeve will not jump at high level in the future, we would be just as surprised as you. This beautiful 3-yr-old chestnut displays a lot of scope, technique and good insight. A horse that knows how to jump a fence!

The pedigree is drenched with international sport. Sire Eras STE Hermelle may not be known by everyone, but he is jumping, now as an 11-yr-old, at 1.55m to 1.60m Grand Prix level under Jérôme Guery (BEL).  

Dam Havana Ter Doorn, international 1.30m level showjumping herself, descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallions Lord Z x Quidam de Revel. Grandam Olidame van de Padenborre performed at 1.40m level, like her dam Grand Espoir van Padenborre (Lugano van la Roche).

Olidame van de Padenborre was a fantastic broodmare. She supplied Galipolli ter Doorn (1.60m GP), Ellechin ter Doorn (1.55m level), Clonaslea (1.50m level), Udamco II ter Doorn (1.45m level), Jojoe ter Doorn (1.45m level) and For Fun ten Doorn (1.40m level), dam of the BWP licensed stallions Bombay ter Doorn Z and Kentucky ter Doorn and Ivory ter Doorn (1.45m level). Olidame is a half-sister of Sierra van de Padenborre (1.50m level) and two 1.40m level horses.
