The 4-yr-old Samba van Essene knows precisely know how high the fence is. He gets it right every time, he smart, jumps with a good technique and wants to be careful.

His family already supplied several (inter)national showjumping horses. Sire Aimar van het Polderhof is an AES licensed stallion of the top-class progenitor Kashmir Van Schuttershof with international 1.50m level experience.

Dam Dixie van Essene is a daughter of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Up Chiqui (Quidam de Revel), who performed successfully under Kent Farrington (USA).

Dixie supplied the international 1.40m level horse Jackpot van Essene (Campione) ridden by Thibault Lejeune (BEL). She is also a full sister of the CIC3* eventing horse Chiqui Up van Essene ridden by Laura Newman (GBR) and a half-sister of Max van Essene (1.50m level), Lord van Essene (1.40m level) and Jedelweiss van Essene (1.30m level).
