The Olympic stallion Emerald, the former top horse from Harrie Smolders, is still very popular among riders and breeders. He has already produced almost forty 1.60-1.70m Grand Prix horses, including the approved stallions Jaguar van de Berghoeve (1.65m GP), El Barone 111 Z (1.60m GP) and Sea Coast Enjoy Z (1.60m GP). 

The dam achieved good results under the saddle of Rodrigo Pessoa. During CSI5* Lyon, for example, they finished second in the 1.50m class and eighth in the 1.60m GP (also clear in the jump-off). Later the grey mare jumped the Nations Cup final in Barcelona with Angelie von Essen.

Grandam Madonna (Ekstein) also produced the 1.40m level showjumping horses Flinstone, Talent and G Star 8 and three 1.30-1.35m showjumping horses. Great-grandam Gladstone (Voltaire x Irco Polo) produced the 1.45m level horse superstar.

Who purchases an embryo:

* May borrow the surrogate mare

* When the foal is five months old, the mare must be returned to the owner

* The pregnant mare can also stay with us. We take care of the birth. Rearing of the foal is also possible at our facility or elsewhere. Taking in a mare costs 350 euros per month excluding (vet) costs
