The promising Mattias, born in 2017, combined with a mare that we have auctioned: Okola. The almost five-year-old grey already showed a lot of scope and seemed to be an interesting and modern jumping horse. The foal will be born this year.

Mattias is an interestingly bred stallion as a son of Comme il Faut x Catoki and as a grandson of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Sweet Tricia.

Dam Okola descends from S.I.E.C. Livello, who jumped 1.60m Grand Prix under different riders, including Cameron Hanley (IRL) and Angelica Augustsson (ZWE). He even became fourth at the 2009 European Championship in Windsor under Hanley.

Grandam Kola is a daughter of the Selle Francais stallion Padock du Plessis (Kannan), who jumped at 1.60m Grand Prix level under Timothee Anciaume (FRA), and she is the full sister of the KWPN licensed stallion Jukebox (international 1.40m level).

Greatgrandam Bola, a preferent- elite- awarded mare, carries the Holsteiner genes of Vainqueur x Corofino I x Lavallo. She is a half-sister of Thor (1.50m level), the KWPN stallion Freedom (1.50m level) and three 1.45m level showjumping horses.

The mare Okola (so no recipient mare in this case) has to stay at Keizersveldweg 15, Marienheem (NED). This is a professional studfarm with great care for the horses by veterinarian Martijn van der Linden. The foal can be picked up after 5 months and the monthly costs at this place are 250 euro excluding VAT.
