ABOUT
Sir Halifax De W&S is none other than the half-brother of the 1.70m Grand Prix stallion Halifax van het Kluizebos, ridden by Daniel Deusser. The six-year-old large-framed chestnut will be a great fit for many stables. He is easy to ride, has a good attitude and shows scope. He was approved by AES but has been gelded.
Sire Nixon van ’t Meulenhof is jumping 1.60m courses with Jos Verlooy and is a half-brother to the Olympic stallion Emerald van ’t Ruytershof.
His dam, MOM's Dalida vd Heffinck (Fetisch du Pas) is an excellent broodmare, having already produced four approved stallions. Besides Halifax van het Kluizebos and this auction horse, she also gave the five-year-old approved Chacco Blue sons Désencantée (1.20m) and Cha-Cha-Cha-H (1.25m).
Granddam Ovanna van de Heffinck (Darco), produced the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Upsilon van de Heffinck and Versace van de Heffinck, as well as Dalida's full brother: the 1.55m GP horse Cremant van de Heffinck. Ovanna herself is a full sister to the 1.60m GP stallion Quirio van de Heffinck.
