The 3-yr-old Kingston Town Z draws attention with his strong type, light-footedness and jumping quality. A very fine horse for the future.
Sire Kassa Z is a 6-yr-old son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Kassander van ’t Roosakker out of the famous Roosakker family. He is, for example, a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Onatella van ’t Roosakker, ridden at the highest level under Karel Cox last year.
Dam Uptown Gril descends from E-Star, who made a deep impression in the showjumping ring from a very early age. He later was owned by Janika Sprunger as a 5-yr-old, under which he started an international career. E-Star was the first licensed son of the Olympic champion Big Star.
Grandam Downtown (studbook name Ebonite LCH), daughter of the 1.60m GP stallion Andiamo, is placed at international 1.35m level under James Gilmartin (IRL). She is bred out of Airco LCH (Air Jordan x Contender x Caletto II), half-sister of the 1.50m level showjumping horse Stellar Skylight (Conthargos) by Michaela Webb (GBR) and is a close relative of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Miss Saigon (Alexis Z) under Mylene Diederichsmeyer, Centimo 7 under Luca Maria Moneta and Just Riding California BS under Slawomir Szlachta.
