Hocus Pocus is a long-lined horse with a light-footed canter and a very good balance. He is well-behaved, not spooky and gives the rider a safe and confident feeling. An honest horse with a golden character and a very good attitude.
He is easy to ride, takes you nicely to the jump and shows sufficient scope. Hocus Pocus is an ideal amateur horse and has experience at 1.10m level, where he is ready to develop further.

Sire Hickstead jumped at 1.60m Grand Prix level and is a proven stallion passing on scope and mentality. He produced multiple international showjumpers at the highest level, including Cayman Jolly Jumper (1.65m), Hickstead White (1.60m) and Gallup (1.60m).

Dam HH Ciske van Overis competed at 1.60m Grand Prix level and performed internationally at the highest level.

The damline is exceptionally strong and full of sport. Granddam Uberta van Overis (Darco) is at the base of a series of international showjumpers.
