New Hope J descends from the Grand Prix stallion Zapatero VDL (Chin Chin), sire of very nice Grand Prix showjumping horses, such as Magic Mike (1.70m Grand Prix ridden by Kyle King, USA), BG Ziro Percent (1.60m level), Gamira (1.60m level) and H5 Zapzerap (1.55m level).

Dam Udetta, descending from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Lauriston, performed at 1.30m level herself. Grandam D-Landetta got the proven genes of Landgraf I x Sacramento Song xx and is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix winner Gitania I (Capitol I), who was very successful for a long time under Marcus Ehning. In addition, D-Landetta is grandam of Verdi III (1.60m GP), Artistic (1.55m GP) and Wish (1.45m level).
