Dam Usambra III, a Holsteiner mare by the top-class progenitor Contender, is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Carlsson Vom Dach, ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa, Darragh Kerins and Will Simpson. Grandam is the half-blood mare Gelsa (Grundyman xx).
